1.奥运

奥林匹克运动会发源于两千多年前的古希腊，因举办地在奥林匹亚而得名。每四年一届，是世界上影响力最大的体育盛会。受新冠肺炎疫情的影响，2020年东京奥运会延期一年，于2021年举行。在此届奥运会中，中国运动员在射击、体操、乒乓球、跳水、举重等多项运动项目中勇夺数金。奥运健儿们在比赛中展现了自强不息、顽强拼搏的精神，完美地诠释了竞技比赛的魅力。

Chinese people have the best idea about recreation. Scholars of ancient times enjoyed themselves through music, chess, calligraphy and painting in their leisure time. In the eyes of the Chinese people, the quality of the artifacts is a reflection of the character of the creator. Thus, playing musical instruments, playing chess, writing calligraphy or painting show ones culture. By playing music, one does not aim to be a musician but to enter a broader world, purifying ones soul in the beautiful music. By playing chess, one does not aim to be the winner but to cultivate patience and foresight. By calligraphy, one aims not only to write beautifully but also to improve his mind. Through painting, one expresses an imaginary world with simple lines.

3.朝代

汉朝建于公元前202年，是中国历史上存在时间最长的朝代之一，分为西汉与东汉两个阶段。汉朝被称为黄金时代，在经济、文化、艺术和科技等各个方面均创造了辉煌的文明。汉朝奠定了汉民族的民族文化，西汉所尊崇的儒家思想（Confucianism）成为中国的主流思想。在西汉时期，商业贸易蓬勃发展，丝绸之路（the Silk Road）的开辟就是一个重要的经济成就。技术进步也是汉朝的重要成就，中国两个伟大发明，造纸和瓷器（porcelain）是在这一时期发展起来的。220年东汉灭亡，汉朝统治结束。

Han Dynasty, founded in 202 BC, was one of the longest dynasties in Chinese history. It was divided into two periods: the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty. Considered a golden age, Han Dynasty created a glorious civilization in various aspects, including economy,culture, art as well as science and technology, etc. Han Dynasty laid a foundation for the ethnic culture of the Han Nationality, and Confucianism respected by the Western Han Dynasty became the mainstream ideology of China. Business and trade flourished during the Western Han Dynasty, with the opening of the Silk Road as an important economic achievement. Technological advances were also great achievement in this period. It was during this time that two great Chinese inventions, papermaking and porcelain, were developed. In 220,the Eastern Han Dynasty collapsed and the ruling of Han Dynasty ended.

4.乌镇

乌镇是浙江的一座古老水镇，坐落在京杭大运河河畔。这是一处迷人的地方，有许多古桥、中式旅店和餐馆。在过去一千年里，乌镇的水系和生活方式并未经历多少变化，是一座展现古文明的博物馆。乌镇所有房屋都用石木建筑。数百年来，当地沿着河边建起了住宅和集市。无数宽敞美丽的庭院藏身于屋舍之间，游客们每到一处都会有惊喜的发现。

Wuzhen is an ancient "Waterside" in Zhejiang, located in the bank of Jing Hang Canal. This is a charming place where there are many old bridges, hotels in Chinese style and restaurants. 5.互联网

互联网已经成为人们获取信息的重要途径。互联网进入中国后，中国的广播电台、电视台就开始利用其资源优势和品牌优势开展网络新闻传播(dissemination)，满足人们对新闻信息的巨大需求。目前已建成了一批综合新闻信息服务网站，不仅增加了权威新闻信息传播的广度,为传统媒体自身发展拓展了新的空间，也逐渐成为人们获取新闻信息的重要渠道。

Ever since it was introduced into China, Chinas radio and television stations have taken advantage of their resources and brands to launch Internet news dissemination in order to meet peoples great needs for news. A number of websites providing comprehensive news service have been established,which has not only extended the scope of the authoritative news dissemination and expanded new space for the development of traditional media, but also has gradually become the important channel for people to obtain news.
